Living Pink is a nonprofit organization founded by two-time breast cancer survivor Kristie Wallace Barrow. Living Pink is dedicated to educating both men and women about breast health. We focus on those deemed high risk and provide them with the resources needed to fight this disease. We also find ways to inspire the community around breast cancer and seek to aid all that are affected, not just those diagnosed. We believe: No One Fights Alone!
Living Pink offers so many opportunities to help those living and effective by breast cancer. Continuing
this work only happens when you decide to get involved. Some serve, others give. It is our hope that you
will give to Living Pink so that we can continue fulling our Mission of helping those that are directly
affected by this disease. Your donations go a long way to offer everything from scholarships, living
assistance, support and awareness for those that are in need within our community. It is our hope that
you will continue to lift up Living Pink so that all those affected will feel supported and seen. Become the
support that a survivor needs!

Living Pink Founder, Kristie Wallace Barrow, is a native of Greensboro, NC. This wife and mother of 4 is strong, determined and fearless. Her Living Pink journey began at the age of 29 after giving birth to her fourth child. She did not let that experience stop her and she continued to persevere. At the moment it seemed she had beat this horrible disease until October 3 rd , 2012. This date will always be remembered as the day she was diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time. Realizing her strength and power, she began to change the narrative on cancer. The negative holds that the word ‘cancer’ posed would not define her life any longer. She fought back and nurtured her mind as well as her body.
Kristie can be heard proclaiming “I will live until I die, but I refuse to die while I yet live.” This zeal for life has become an inspiration for those struggling, living, and surviving from cancer. Her story could be your story, or even your family’s story. In fact, Kristie has a Mother, Aunt and Cousins who are Living Pink every day. Living Pink grew from her need to tell her story, encourage those Living Pink and the strength she received from her family.
Currently Kristie is a two-time cancer survivor who proclaims ‘Life’! Her ability to nurture and inspire others to tell their stories is what gives her the ability to lead this organization into a new era of education and support. Kristie understands first-hand that those diagnosed with cancer are not the only ones affected by cancer. She believes that a survivor is only as strong as those who are actively invested in their survival. Because of this, Living Pink works tirelessly to help support families as well as those diagnosed with cancer. She sees the importance of being a resource for those that are newly diagnosed. Kristie will always remind you to “Laugh Pink, Love Pink, Live Pink!”
